Summer menu 2016

The summer came early this year and we follow up with a great summer menu in our ala carte restaurant.

All our meat comes from the local butcher Voss Gardsslakteri, fish from the North Sea or lakes around here, and in most dishes you will find herbs and greens from our garden or nearby forests. This makes our food unique in taste and flavor…the taste of Voss

Starters

Roasted Haukelid chevre, fresh seasonal salad on focaccia with honey/mustard dressing  (gluten, dairy)

Apal marinated mountain trout with apple chutney and blue potato chips  (Spices, fish)

Cured local lamb with roasted blue chees focaccia topped with peach (cheese)

Creamed fern soup topped with crunchy bacon and crème fraiche (dairy)

Soup of the day  (may contain dairy products, ask)

 

Main courses

Matured and grilled local lamb with chives potato pure, paprika sauce and grilled cabbage (garlic, cream, paprika)

Steak from local beef, oven baked potatoes, fresh lettice and horse radich sauce  (cream, onions)

Grilled pork chops, potato/cured deer gratin, honeyroasted garlic and apple cider sauce  (cream, garlic)

Herb crusted fillet of cod, lentils and creamed young cabbage (dairy, garlic, fish)
